      FedEx API Credentials

      How to obtain FedEx API Credentials:

      Required Fields

       
      FedEx account
       
      • Meter Number: A unique ID you received when you created a FedEx account.
      • Account ID for either an Express, Ground, or SmartPost account: An account ID for one of these account types is required.
      FedEx Third Party Billing account (optional)
       
      • Account Number: A unique account identifier for your Third Party Billing account.
       

      Get Fedex Credentials

       
      Log in to your Fedex account.
       
      Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Developer Resource Center link.

      Select the link for FedEx Web Services.

      Next, select the Get Started link.

      Click the Get Your Test Key button.

      Follow the prompts and screenshot and save your developer test key and credentials (this is very important!). 
       
      Next you will receive an email that needs to be forwarded to your DesktopShipper contact. 
       
      You may now click go to Fedex Developer Resource Center.
       
      Choose the Move to Production tab.

      Follow the prompts and screenshot/save the credentials. 
       
      You will receive an email that needs to be forwarded to your contact. 
       
      *Please provide the contact name and email for your company, as well as the address on your FedEx account. This information will be needed to complete the certification call and to submit sample labels from DesktopShipper's side.
